The second day of our vacation, we drove from the Benny's home to Chicago. The next morning, we opened Legoland! The kids have been longing to go to this place for a while, so with a Discovery Center on our route, we made it a stop.
We were so amazed at the lego sculptures. Here is Chicago!
Indiana Jones!
Catherine, Mary Claire, and Jeff went on a dragon ride, while I stayed with Amelia and Gregory, who were not tall enough. Amelia was thankful for the time out of the stroller.
I experimented with self portaits, to try and insert myself into some of the pictures.
I had to include this picture. Catherine was beyond taking any more pictures, but it's our photographic proof that she was somewhat "naughty", even with Santa right behind her.
While at Legoland, we watched a 4D movie of Bob the Builder.
There was also an area to build and car and race them. Jeff had lots of fun!
Mary Claire finally warmed up while playing in the princess area.
